One of our favorite parts of the wedding photography process is to compile the day into one beautiful book you can pass down to future generations. I think about your granddaughter flipping through it one day, and you telling her all about that joyful day when her grandparents promised each other their forevers.

An album tells the story of your day in a way that no other product can. And it lives on to tell that story to your children and grandchildren. Michael & I regularly sit down and look through our own wedding album, and every time it is a way to reflect on how far we've come and how deeply we loved each other on that perfect day so many years ago. And every time, I think of the day we will get to flip through it with our grandchildren on our laps and tell them all about our love story.
More than any other product, we want all of our clients to walk away with a custom album.

Linen and Leather Albums
We are Michael & Laura! Michael is a self proclaimed Mr. Fix-it, always with a tool in his hand... Think Tim the Toolman Taylor. You can find him in the kitchen brewing beer, or underneath a car fixing something he probably should have a professional handle.
Meanwhile, Laura is working hard on a new diy project, at the same time as baking something delicious in the oven. She loves relaxing on the couch with Tusker right next to her, a cozy blanket, and a well-designed mug, but only after taking on a new business goal to help our clients’ experience.
On wedding days, if Michael isn’t behind the camera, he’s helping with some ceremony setup, or looking awkward, trying to hold in his crazy dance moves at the reception. Laura on the other hand would be fluffing wedding dresses on the side of a building, or jumping into a photo booth with our clients.
We can’t wait to meet you and get to know you better!

Michael got his degree in Photography from VCU and when he was asked to shoot a friend's wedding in 2011, I (Laura) begged him to tag along. We've been shooting weddings together ever since. In 2012 we got married here in Richmond, spent most our budget on our photographer, and DIYed the rest. We adopted our sweet pit-mix at Hardywood Brewery after coming back from volunteering in Kenya, so we named him Tusker, after Kenyan's most popular beer. We took on a huge house renovation in 2018 and fell in love with our little fixer upper. And in late 2019 we became parents and still have no idea what we're doing.. but boy is he cute.

All albums are luster paper images printed on thick (1mm), lay flat pages that won't bend. Legacy albums start at 15 spreads (30 pages), though additional spreads can be added to any album.

Engagement albums make for amazing guestbooks on the wedding day and serve as a gorgeous reminder of a beautiful season in your relationship. Our engagement albums are printed in the highest quality, similar to our legacy wedding albums. These albums are printed on thinner paper (though still have a rather stiff quality), and are covered in a high quality linen.

Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to decide what you value most. Is it the dress? The food? The venue? When we got married, we choose to prioritize what would last. After the big day is over, you will leave your reception with a spouse & your pictures.. that’s it!
All of that planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours! So if you’re choosing to invest in high quality photography, those images deserve an elegant home after the wedding day.
Our legacy albums have the images are printed directly onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top quality linen or leather. This is the perfect ending to the wedding experience and is a keepsake you’ll be showing to your children and grandchildren one day!

Once you decide you're interested in an album, reach out to us and Laura will get to designing a preview of your album using our favorite images.
This preview will be sent via an online link for you to look through.
- See a design -
step two
After you see the preview, you can make any comments and adjustments you'd like. You can change a few images to ones you love, or ask for full spreads to be redesigned. It's totally up to you.
You can easily comment on each spread using the online preview system. When you're ready, send it over and Laura will make adjustments.
- Make changes -
Once you've made all the changes you want and the album is perfect, we will ask you to "approve" the final design.
Once it's approved you can pick out all the fun stuff! Decide on a size, cover type, cover color, cameo picture, engraving, or storage box.

We will confirm with you your final choices and send you an invoice to pay online. Once your invoice is paid, your album will be ordered and delivered directly to you.
Printing and delivering can take about 3-5 weeks.

We recommend picking a location in your home where your album is seen and can be flipped through regularly.
